About the Workplace Mental Health Navigator 

The Workplace Mental Health Navigator is a free resource designed to address mental health challenges in the workplace. Whether you are an employer wanting to support your team or an employee looking for help, the Navigator provides personalized support, information, and connections to mental health services. 

This initiative, in collaboration with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, helps businesses and employees access the mental health resources they need quickly and confidentially.  

How we can help 

Supporting employers  

If you are a business owner or HR manager with an employee facing mental health challenges, we can help. The Mental Health Navigator will: 

  • Assess the situation and provide one-on-one consultations. 

  • Offer guidance on addressing mental health concerns in the workplace. 

  • Quickly connect your team members to appropriate mental health resources.  

Supporting employees 

Feeling overwhelmed, down, or just not yourself? You are not alone. The Mental Health Navigator can help you by: 

  • Providing free, confidential consultations. 

  • Offering referrals for mental health concerns. 

  • Connecting you to crisis support, coaching, and other community resources. 

How it works 

  1. Reach out: Contact the Mental Health Navigator via email or phone to book an appointment and discuss your concerns.  

  2. Consultation: Employers and employees receive one-on-one consultations to assess their unique needs and determine the best course of action.

  3. Resource connection: Based on your situation, the Navigator will provide referrals to mental health services, resources, or community crisis teams.

  4. Ongoing support: The Navigator can provide ongoing coaching and advocacy to address barriers and ensure you have access to continued support.
