The quality of your conversations will determine the quality of your relationship. At Calgary Counselling Centre we want to help you have deep and meaningful conversations that will make your relationship last forever. We want to provide you with practical tools and ideas on how to talk about everything.

Our Marriage Preparation workshop will provide you with insight and tools while actively involving you and your partner in meaningful conversations about what works, what doesn’t and what you can improve upon in your relationship.

Our workshop engages you and your partner in important conversations about your expectations, communication skills, conflict resolution, and more. Through our Marriage Preparation workshop you and your partner will leave well-equipped to deepen your relationship today and to be prepared to face any challenges in the future, together.

This workshop is designed to help you recognize both areas of strength and areas where you can enhance your communication skills. It will teach you how to communicate in new ways about subjects you’ve never talked about before or had difficulty discussing.

Who will benefit from this workshop?

The workshop is beneficial for any couple. Whether you are engaged, recently married, moving in together, have been married or living together for a number of years this workshop will provide insight and skills that can help you communicate with your partner and bring you closer together.

More than just a group learning process, Marriage Preparation is designed to provide each couple with the opportunity to work on specific needs or areas. These areas are identified through the pre and post workshop surveys. These in-depth questionnaires will assist you and your partner in identifying the strengths and potential challenges you might face as a couple thus giving you added insight into areas to focus on during the workshop.
