Calgary Counselling Centre recently took part in a unique campaign being delivered by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Calgary. The campaign, called 60 Days of Conversation, follows the theme #NowImStronger. It not only celebrates the organization’s 60th anniversary, but aims to remove the stigma surrounding mental illness, suicide and addiction recovery.
Since January 18, CMHA Calgary has been sharing stories in the form videos and blogs. The stories are about strength, hope and resiliency and come from people and organizations in the community.
We joined the conversation with a short video that featured some of our counsellors explaining what it means to help a person find strength through the therapeutic process.
